Activities of Facsimile Testing Group

Facsimile TG tests the various interconnection of facsimile inluding super G3 in order to discover and solve the interoperability issues at an early stage, and guarantees the interoperability.

Represented by the spread of IP networks, the enviroment surrounding image communication is changing day by day.
This meeting succeedingly conducts the interconnect tests which meet user needs, and then contributes to improving usability about facsimile.

Activities of PBX Telecom Server Testing Group

The PBX Telecom Server TG conducts interoperability tests between PBXs in order to secure interoperability between PBX related products developed by different manufacturers.

<Contents of the test>

By connecting PBX products developed by each manufacturer in accordance with VoIP(SIP) protocol specification (RFC3261) of IP intranet network (IPv4/IPv6), interoperability tests between PBXs are implemented.
Confirmation items of the interoperability test are as follows.

  1. Normality of incoming/outgoing call connection
  2. Voice volume, voice quality
  3. Calling number display
  4. PBX additional services, such as call transfer and call hold within the server
  5. Protocol confirmation, such as monitoring of session and reliability of Provisional Responses

Activities of Multimedia communication Testing Group

The Multimedia TG undertakes various activities in the multimedia communication areas (such as AV communication devices, Home network devices, end security devices like IP surveillance cameras).

Our core activities are:
-To exchange information and knowledge on video/audio communication devices and their technology for interoperability test.
-To organize interoperability test event according to market demand in order to ensure interoperability among different vender's products.

< Test area >

(1) AV communication equipment interoperability test WG
VoIP equipment (IP phone, Soft phone, SIP server ), HD/SD video Forum, and Video phone.

(2) IP camera interoperability test WG
Interoperability test between ONVIF-supported server and devices

(3) Home network equipment interoperability test WG
Home-use gateway such as home router
